Aluminum pallets for blasting machines
If you haven’t noticed yet you can see that wooden pallets are being supplanted by aluminum pallets and other pallets made from metal or plastic since they have longer life span than wooden pallets since wood is basically organic material and doesn’t last as long as metal and other non-organic materials. Lately most of the sand blasting machine and other companies are throwing away or burning wooden pallets or even selling them to coal making factories and are replacing them with aluminum pallets for transport since they cannot brake like wood does. Even though wooden pallets are being replaced by aluminum pallets they’re still being used in third world countries and countries in eastern Europe. But if you see a truck transporting sand blasting machine you’ll most likely see them being transported metal or plastic pallets except for maybe in poor countries with low metal resources. But then again wooden pallets are not that bad that you may think since they can be still used as burning material after they can’t be used any more so they might be still used in colder countries like Russia or Scandinavian countries. But in any other case metals can still oxidate which leads into use of alcohol or any other anti-oxide cleaning materials. But there’s still question why can’t you see iron pallets and answer is quite simple. You need to transform iron into steel since iron can be damaged by rust and is useless afterwards and aluminum pallets are way cheaper than steel pallets.
