Dry ice blasting equipment

Dry ice blasting is very similar to sandblasting. Media is accelerated in air stream and we impact the surface with it, similar to sand blasting or soda blasting.

But yet dry ice blasting is different. Dry ice blasting uses no hard blasting media. Result is that surface does not get damaged during process. Instead dry ice crated mini explosions on surface which removes undesirable irems from surface.

Ice blasting is also a lot more clear process so it’s most commonly used in food industry. It is also a lot more friendly to both operator and enviroment, no dust is being produced with dry ice whatsoever.

And for dry ice blating you will require different equipment, such as shot blasting machine. You cannot use same as sandblasitng since process is to much different. For example, dry ice is has – 80 degrees Celsius.
